I'm still one the fence about Qore. For those who already have the first episode let me know what you think. Is it worth it?

Its not bad at its 'core' its just a lot of game advertising but the interviews they showed were good and packed with lots of new ingame footage. The bonus content is a little thin just the soocam beta and matching theme but the betas not live yet so....

Still went for the year subscription since they throw in calling all cars which is a good game to play with the kids.

Yeah - I already have Calling all Cars (which is fun w/ freinds) - but that's a decent incentive for those that don't.

A complete ripoff. Its not a magazine at all. Qore is basically a series of HD adds disguised as previews. Period. It is bereft of any real content.

I understand - I wouldn't have very high hopes for the first episode (or whatever), but the thing's just getting started. They might do some cool stuff in the coming months (here's hoping).

Denial is the first stage of grief. "Daddy will eventually stop hitting me!"

Come on! This is a clear marketing maneveur and Sony will only do it as long as they make money. To make money, they have to spend less on content than what they charge. You will never "get your money's worth" with any of these kind of programs. Ever.

Dude, there are like 5 threads on Qore now. Where are the mods? Just use the FIRST thread on it, has like, 4 pages.

Dude, don't panic, I reviewed the threads and while others discuss qore/demo this is directed at people that have it, so I think it's useful and stands for continued advice from current subscribers to those considering making the leap.

There's other Qore threads with basic info, let's keep this to advice from people that already have it.

The Qore girl is very cute, too bad there isn't more of her 'cause I could listen to her speak forever instead of all these boring devs who just drone on forever about their own games.

i really like this thread and i hope the people who do subscribe will voice their opinions here so that it can make my decision to subscribe more easier.
watching it on YouTube is one thing, but i like the HD quality of the videos since i splashed out $1k+ for my HDTV and would like to use it to its fullest.
then there's the exclusive beta program which i'm more interested in.

i'll wait and see how this pans out though first and welcome anyone who has subscribed to tell me what they like/dislike about Qore.
