Can you only upgrade your weapons to v5?
In the real game does the weapon upgrade bar go that fast while killing enemies?

In Tools of Desctruction you could upgrade to "VX" (10) when you play the game on challenge mode, and I would assume they upgrade slower in the game (though I haven't played the demo, I could imagine they let you see what the weapons change to)
