Recovering a Forgotten Password - Jul.-30th-2008 18:50:15

Is there anyother way that i can get/change my password on my ps3? Ive forgotten it, and i dont remember the answer to the question so i can change it. is there like a default password i can overwrite it with? because i have a feeling my auto login days are limited.

on the ps2 there was a password reset code

im sure there is one on the ps3 aswell, you just have to look around


edit: or do you mean your PSN login

I wouldn't think you could...what would be the point of the password if you could.

BTW, MotM opens the day after tommorow, AuToFIRE gets my vote for fourm tech.

Don't worry about it, I'm on the same boat, cept I know my password, just don't know the cases I used for it.

I think I saw something about retrieving your PSN password on the Playstation main site...   Check the site or contact them.

Maybe there's a way.

yeah i had the same problem i phoned sony, and the second time i did i they asked for my serial no and some other info and eventually they told me my answer to the question i used and the fake date of birth i entered. as sony cannot reset your password for you.

if you call customer service they can reset it for u all u got to do is answer some questions cause i had to reset myne before
