dude.. what is your major malfunction.  Are you seriously bringing up an issue that occurred 2 years ago.. that was in fact fixed before the general public even had access to the game... seriously?  wow dude.  Ok.. seeing that you have a 1080p capable set.. I wouldnt think you would even have to worry about such things.  Dont worry about what other people say.. just worry about you will enjoy the game... in all of its 1080p glory.

I was just looking out for the 1080i people, thats all I was doing with this thread

wondering if UNCHARTED 2 SUPPORTS 1080i for them or will ND need to patch

this version also, we will see next week I guess.


Clear way to find out is to Force 1080p on it and if it doesn't support it, then 1080i

isn't support it for Uncharted 2 and so ND will be whined again, if it does support it

then ND were looking out for those gamers.

well.. for a 1080i only television set.. i seriously doubt that it can display a 1080p image.  I could be wrong there.. I dont think so.  Anyways.... if naughty felt it was necessary to patch a game before it was even launched to appease the people that had 1080i only sets... then i have a feeling they included that functionality again.  But there is also the possibility that Uncharted 2 is just way to awesome to display in 1080i... so we'll see.

Of course you can't, nobody said that in the thread.  I said that Uncharted 1 has the OPTION to be played at 1080P on Full 1080P sets, by simply forcing the PS3 to do it thanks to that patch.

So with that patch they gave the 1080i folks the chance to play it on 1080i(with out it they were on 480P).

But also 1080P owners also got an option if they want to play it on 1080p  which I did. Like I said before it has become common now, many other games have this option, which means they are looking out for those 1080i folks.
