is a dupe of

The original story already has scans.

Yes, it looks like those scans were made as an update to the original post, and since I'm not in a position to determine the timing on each I'd rather both stories remained.  I will be adding the related game to the earlier submission, though! :)

Wrong source.  Should be:
http://www.gamepolitics.com/2009/07/14/economist-ea039s-madden-monopoly-cost-gamers-926-million?????????
via
http://kotaku.com/5314758/economist-says-eas-madden-monopoly-has-cost-gamers-almost-1-billion

Bad Columbo! Bad!

Eh, Kotaku updated their story with a source link after I went to bed.  I should have known that an economist doesn't speak to Kotaku.

not an actual story: http://www.n4g.com/NewsCom-361117.aspx?CT=1  Just some revolving top 100 list that changes every 24 hours

http://www.n4g.com/dev/NewsCom-361112.aspx?CT=1 may be a dupe of http://www.n4g.com/industrynews/News-361057.aspx  i can't view the link because of "provocative attire"

http://www.n4g.com/gaming/News-360822.aspx has been approved, but it's a duplicate of an earlier submission that somehow got overlooked.

http://www.n4g.com/NewsPending-360504.aspx has a much earlier submission number but is still waiting approval.

whoops I approved that one in pending but right when I clicked it, I noticed that it didn't have a related game.

This article time says it's in hour 1 of its 24 hour cycle, but I saw it last night and it's at 930 degrees which is absurd for a post only up for an hour, I can't say for sure when it was posted but it's been live for at least 12 hours, how come it gets a restart?

Haha, it didn't get a "restart".  It was created 21 hours ago, approved and published on the first page a couple hours ago.  Degrees accumulate while in pending, so you probably saw it getting hot in pending.

No, he's right.  It was a top 3 story on the front page last night at around 900 degrees.  Then this afternoon, it was "published 30 min ago".  Look at the submitter's profile.  He had 500 degrees 16 hours ago.  No way it was at 500 degrees in pending.  His profile also says it was approved 20 hours ago.  Either way, its not on the top 3 stories anymore, so i guess it doesn't matter.

I checked the action history and no changes were made to the sub, so if that's the case it was just a glitch.
The Gamastura piece has so much more info I think I'll leave it.

Whoah, I couldn't even view the pic at work because the domain was blocked.  So I was a little confused about the pink cardigan comment.  Now I understand!

nope, any asset from a blocked domain comes up blank when I'm on my work laptop.  So I see none of the provocativeness.  My eyez!!!

doesn't use original title: http://www.n4g.com/NewsPendingCom-361660.aspx?CT=1  Doesn't look like the submitter is going to change it and people keep approving, so you might as well help them out.

http://www.n4g.com/News-361573.aspx is a dupe

You've got to be kidding me... hip hop gamer submitted this story from his own site (as he usually does) and links the story to his own site when he even put the source hyperlink on hiphopgamer.com

http://www.n4g.com/industrynews/News-361592.aspx

Can you put a temporary ban on his account or something just to teach him a lesson??? I'm getting rather sick of just about every story he submits having something wrong with it.
