This is trying to masquarade as Confirmed information.  This isn't 100% confirmed info.

The title says Global Update but there is no info on US because US Store will not be updated until later.

Also we do this story Every week when the stores are actually updated and confirmed.

The Rumored Store content was up yesterday like every week.

You can't just squat N4G with an article that you will eventually update as confirmed info. Every week we go through this same thing.

I need you guys to stop spam-attacking SixthAxis stories.  It's not what the reports section is intended for, your intentions are transparent, it's unprofessional and frankly it ticks me off.  Chill out and choose only the most appropriate report type.

It's because every week we go through the same thing because TSA can't be bothered with tyring to come up with their own content.

Each week they do something to try to steal the attention on this content.  Make cosmetic minor changes that aren't in line with the exact topic matter.

This week they are squatting, they don't have confirmed global update, but N4G will look the other way as they update the post throughout the day like they had it to begin with.

This thread is not for libelous accusations.  I have replied to Sev's PM, and as I understand the structure of your site he's the man in charge, so that will suffice.

Hi DoucheVader.

Apologies for the 404 on the original post, we set up the post on Tuesday night, and when we update it to a new day (with new confirmed content) the system changes the date in the URL.  It's a little bit frustrating, especially when it's meant to be a Permalink, but there's not much we can do about it.

All the content in the version of the story we posted today onto N4G was confirmed, via either the blog, a developer, a publisher, the HK Sony site or the UK Sony site, and so we decided to publish the story for approval at that stage.  There's only really the US Store to go, I do think both stories are completely different - your rumoured one is great, and then we wanted to follow up with the confirmed one a day or so later.

Regards,

Nofi.

It's not a global update.  You don't have info on the US.

This has been on the homepage for nearly 2 days now.  I thought every story is done in 24 hours?

Now the time of publishing and the first comment.

The first comment was made when the submission was sent to pending 1 day and 18 hours ago.  The submission was then approved (making it available for the front page) 22 hours ago.

Weird it took 17 hours to approve then made it to 1020 degrees.

Late bloomer.

Not to be a stickler, but you can see from the approval audit that it received 10 approvals 1 day 18 hours ago.

JustinSaneV2 (4) - 1d ago         <- Not sure how this got in there.
jromao (2) - 1d 18h ago
BulletToothtony (2) - 1d 18h ago
UNCyrus (2) - 1d 18h ago
ZombieAutopsy (1) - 1d 18h ago
THC CELL (2) - 1d 19h ago
the_only_lol_king (1) - 1d 19h ago

The first 6 approvers (the_only_lol_king,  THC CELL, ZombieAutopsy, UNCyrus, BulletToothtony, jromao) gave the 10 points to approve it.    JustinSaneV2 put it up to 14 (a day later somehow).  I knew I wasn't crazy, I was pretty sure I saw that thing on the homepage for more then 24 hours.

Is there some manner in which really hot stories get extensions?

No, the submission was sent to Creating because of a broken link for a period of time, which basically hits the "pause" button on front page time.  While in Creating it would not appear on the FP, then it returned to Pending for Justin's approval which set it back to approved and picked up the Front Page time where it left off.
