No, because they want to make as much money as possible.

Doubt it, the way they have stolen from other games I dont doubt a legendary edition with a cat sized chimera skull.

It's starting to get a bit too much for Socomnick. It's all hitting home that this is starting to look great.

I am a skeptic and even I am starting to come around to it with that crazy blade projecting gun. The only reason I don't particularly like it is becuase it's about as deep as your average Gears of War or Halo.

Don't start that nonsense here, okay? We're discussing the Collector's Edition of Resistance 2, not the game itself.

It steals from games that stole from other games before them, like Halo. It's not exactly plagiarism, is it?

Admit it, Resistance 2 is a good game.

Yeah, Resistance stole from other games, which absolutely nothing on the 360 does.  Halo and Gears of War are the two most innovative franchises ever to grace this earth.  Am I right socomnick?

We can discuss whatever within limits - it's a Resistance 2 subforum. This trehad will die a painful death if it stays based solely on this subject. I wanted to make sure that Socomnick knew it is copying, and that will clearly make it a better game.

And it's certainly not Sony's perogative.

Killzone 2, will kill off halo. It will show what a real shooter is.

Defintely would never go that far. If everyone could afford a PS3 that might be true, but it's still an expensive piece of kit.

You can buy one, or your parents can buy one for you?

I'm not lightyears ahead of you. This wasn't a 'back in my day' rant.

But I do work to pay for what I buy.

killzone 2 is more comparable to cod4....i cant say in terms of how good the game is because i have never played it, but the style is very similar.

no laser beams/ crazy unrealistic guns
easy deaths
classes
no jumping 80ft and living

resistance is still my most anticipated game, but killzone 2 is so close i hesitated. and lbp isnt far behind those  either.

and i dont think they are that expensive for how much your getting

plays awsome games
blue ray players are like $350
internet browser
online is free
internet browser
home- free
video store
can store movies/cds
psp integration

and it can play dvds that couldnt even begin to play in a normal dvd player.
scratched discs are absolutley no problem

but i can understand it not fitting into a budget
