Heya everyone. I have a question which im really curious about..

As of this moment i got like 7 master accounts created on my ps3 system, and im fed up with it, i dont like the names on them either so i want to start a new account on a system where its the only account made, i dont care about losing saved data from games and so on.

But since ive bought warhawk, pixel junk monsters and pain on the playstation store im afraid they will be lost in the system restore and i wont be able to download them again or play them again..

so, anyone knows how this works? will those bought games be lost forever? or will they still be there on the ps3 system?

also, will all my psn IDs be deleted if i do a system restore?

keep the one acc. which you bought it from and make that a second acc for that stuff, and just restore your system and make your main account and make a sub account for that other account you had.

You can just go to the user you want to delete, log in that account, press triangle, delete the user. The account will still exist but it wont be on your PS3 anymore. As long as you keep the account you purchased the games from you can play them on your other accounts. In other words, delete the ones that you haven't downloaded anything valuable from.

I know you probably dont want to do this but try calling in. I had an issue with the video store not letting me redownload stuff and I think cust care can assign a new master account and remotely deactivate systems so you may be able to transfer your old stuff to a new permanant account try setting it up then calling in

Even if you restore the system you can always go make a new user, sign up with an existing account, and log in with an old account you had. You can't delete PSN accounts. You can delete the user but not the account.
