Another deveper using the excuse that "PS3 was too hard to develop on". Im sick of these lazy developers thinking that their job is supposed to be easy. These are complex games on complex systems no matter which system you develop on. "Too hard" is not a damn excuse in fact it just makes you sound like you need to go back to Video game dev college because you obviously didnt pay attention during the "How to develop for multiple consoles" lecture your profesor had to tell you because you were too hung over to care.

Developers these days are either lazy, stupid or both. If you cant learn how to develop for more then one console you need to go back to college and quit wating everyones time with your delays and cancellations.

Status: online 		I don't see whats the problem, they basically say Sony's support is better, they hired a dedicated team for ps3 development and that Saints row2 PS3 is only one day behind 360 dev.

Status: offline 		well i know im not a dev. so i dont know that well, but im sure its hard...harder than you think....just paying some person to do the ps3 coding for you isnt good because what are they going to do for their next game...evensualy they are going to have to learn and putting it off is not a good idea.

But at the beginning when the PS3 install base was smaller, developers were lazy, becuase they coudl afford to be. The PS3 just wasn't as big a platform as it is now.

they weren't lazy, developers just aren't wild about learning how to write code in a completely different way, when they know that as soon as the PS4 is out, it will be totally different again, and hence they'll have a ton of useless knowledge.

PC's should just become the onyl consoles.

Status: offline 		Yes, so they were lazy surely. There were some who weren't like Criteron and Infinity Ward.

To be fair they also knew the PS4 would be out in 10 years time. And they also know that the PS3 will once it become a serious userbase, a very maluable platform. PS3 is crappign difficult, so I understand why the developers dislike it. But the reason there's a lot fo swaying now, is becuase the PS3 diversifies the market, and creates a beauitful competetive market.

That's my favourite thing. The PS3 is kind of unpredictable, becuase it has lots of leeway. I just want to see how developers start pushing it. Not multiplatform.

And the only reason I prefer consoels to PC is becuase they get plugged in and they work. And then if the console feels like it can be stretched, then that's a nice security.
