I'm moving soon to New York  and i go to a boarding school . My mom won't let me bring my hdtv to school and the school firewall won't allow online gaming anyway. Because of the travelling distance i will be staying at school for weekend and most likely holidays.

I'm going to be missing out on all these great games coming out this year. When i do finally get my hands on games around June 2009, everyone will be long done finished and won't want to play online co-op with with me or multiplayer because they already beat the campaign mode a long time ago.

I will be just on Video game sites looking at upcoming game painfully and going on forums to talk about it....and the worst part is it won't be n4g forums..It will be Gametrailers forums because my school firewall blocks n4g....

If you can not bring a HDtv just get a regular old tv and bring that up. Why can't you get a proxy to get past the blocked sites.

  Boarding school?

Dude..give me a break.  As much as I feel bad for you I now live in the real world after college, and that means working in nearly every city and state in this great country, on the road for months at a time.  The cool thing is that I get breaks for several months at a time too, but   I've been dealing with Hotel firewalls for years and I just suck it up and don't play where I can't and wait until I get home to start kicking ass again.  Once a gamer...always a gamer -- no retiring here.

That sucks.

Didn't you have a brother? He gets to stay home does he?

Hey, at least when you get back in June, a lot of the games you missed will be available for pretty cheap. Or if you're in a dorm or something you might get a roomate who's into games.

That sucks hard monkey balls. At least bring an old school console, so you won't be totally withdrawn.

Don't worry about missing out too much. All the great multi-player games like Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 will still be played, for a long time to come. If you're worried about missing out on the 60-player, 8-player co-op, or multi-player-based Trophies, then don't: by June 2009, there will be so many new PS3 gamers, and I believe many 360-only gamers will come over after Resistance 2, Killzone 2, and God Of War III utterly crush the 360 graphically and provide true next-gen experiences.

If anything there will be MORE people playing by the time you can.

Wala is the phonetic spelling which you might see in a dictionary to help you know how to PRONOUNCE the word voila, which is French. Please be open to the idea that you might be wrong some of the time.
