Hmm..that's a good question, I have no idea. The title of the article in N4G says it's confirmed so I'm guessing its not?

Yes, I have the mag in my hands at the moment, it's from the rumours section of the UK OPM.

The console version of this game will probably play like crap. The run speed is just too fast, we're talking CS like here, and the zombies that charge you by the dozens are even faster. Just look at the all the gameplay vids. Buy this game for the PC where it belongs or else stay away.

I know what you mean, but I'm sure they'll slow the game down a bit, like they've done with the console versions of Unreal Tournament in the past.

While I prefer using a pad to play games (slumping on the couch beats hunching over a computer desk any day) you can't argue that you can't match the speed of a keyboard and mouse with a gamepad. This is why cross-platform play between PS3/360 and PC is a silly idea, the console players wouldn't stand a chance against the PC players.

I really wish it was, but to be honest I don't think it is true at all... If it is we will end up with an EA developed version that will likely suffer as a result.

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll be saying this for the rest of my life:

The Orange Box was absolutely fine on PS3

All the previews were of the unfinished product and many of the reviews were probably done without installing the game.

Anyway I do hope it's true, because my PC isn't spectacular, and it's prone to framerate drops, so fighting off dozens of zombies will be nigh on impossible, depending on whether I can turn down the graphics enough. But then I have shoddy graphics.

You can put a keyboard and mouse on a PS3. Draw distance has nothing to do with the L4D so that huge advantage that the PC gamer has comes to not. I still wouldn't want to play against a PC Gamer, they are ego maniacs.
