Now if you could careless about socom like me... then this is a good price... $39.96 at Amazon

So get it while the getting is good people... I don't think it will stay at that price..$

Looks pretty cool, let's just hope it works just as good...

I suppose if you're into the Sony brand, this would be a buy. However, some mics sound like utter crap on the PS3, and by some, I mean all. It's just something with the inner workings of the playstation that lacks good audio quality.

pretty much the same if you buy it in store-but in store will be sold out pretty quick i imagine.

Tekken 5 and Socom are cell phone quality imo.

but this is made for ps3.is it not good?is there a really good one that will work for ps3

Wich inner working could it be? mabe the DDA converter, or something with the sample rate conversion i wish to know? does this affect the sound of the games too? if you dont care

It just seems that any Blue tooth headset out there sounds like crap on the PS3. Mind you, I'm not familiar wit the game specific ones that DrPirate mentioned, but even the Sony Excursion (made by Sony, to answer TMANX!'s question) still sounds pretty crappy over the PS3.

I don't have to own a PS3 to be familiar with it. I've used them in the past and had the opportunity to play in the online mode of some games, that's when I've used the mic. Also, by talking to other PS3 owners, I've heard nothing but bad things with the audio quality via blue tooth headsets.

It wasn't the headset. When parred with a cell phone the quality is substantially better. As for "more choices with a ps3", I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. Can you elaborate?
