I'm so far only about 5 hours into the game, but holy crap! This is what GTAIV was supposed to be, and then some! I only rented this game, but I'll definately be buying it. There is just so much to do. The customization options are almost endless. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes sandbox games. Even if you didn't like the first Saints Row... this is very different game.

saints row 2 has one thing that was missing from GTA IV. planes. planes were friggin awesome in san andreas. i might check out saints row 2 just to fly some planes around. i dunno why i find that fun but i do lol

Forive me for saying this, but GTA 4 is completely good as it is now.

I love this game as well. One of my favorite side missions is the crowd control. There is nothing more satisfying than throwing people into swat trucks, police, etc. and then watching them go flying into the air.

oh yea i love gta4 but i dont know which is better between the 2 but saints row has all this different customization than gta and thats the plus about it

Iwent to blockbust and wanted to rent this.

the 360 stock was rented out...
But the PS3 version was still full...
In my head I was like..."More fun online with X-box live"
i'll wait.

I can easily say, hands down, that this definitely isn't the best game ever made. There are plenty better than it... I would rent it for the Trophies a little after Christmas if it weren't for the fact that it doesn't have any... >_>

How is Modes online?

The online modes are sick, I only played Deathmatch, TDM, insurance fraud (which sucks), racing, and VIP killer. But they have cops and robbers and other modes.

It is the best game ever in its particular genre. No other game goes into that must detail in terms of customization of people, cars, and houses. It is the greatest thing. The whole gang aspect is really fun. The activities are fun and the missions are even better.

I'd recommend buying this game, cuz if you rent it you will be pissed that you didn't buy it and will end up spending more money. We in a recession you can't afford spending the extra money.

When I got GTA4 I just ran through it and was not really impressed at all! San Andreas and Vice City were better than GTA4,if you don't agree with that then you are crazy. Saints Row 2 is better than all 3 of them COMBINED!
