Trap a bunch of idiots in a room who are connected by a thin thread
Create clues for a person to follow
Bloody traps
Stupid ass plot

Rinse and repeat.

The first 3 were good because they had been thought out and Jig Saw was still alive. Now it has become like every other horror franchise, mindless crap in attempts to make money off of the good movies in the series. Jason and freddy are two great examples of this. Does anyone remember Jason X? Is anyone else a victom of that abomination?

No, the funniest was jason vs. freddy... only becuase it was one of those movies that was SO bad it was funny to watch. I wish horror movies weren't like that, but sadly they always have been. Corny as hell.

Oh btw, I will probably end up seeing saw V this weekend despite the fact I think it will be bad. It's the only horror movie I know of being released around halloween. I have yet to see any previews for any other horror movies for the next few months. It is a ritual for me to see atleast 1 horror movie around halloween in the theater, and this year it doesn't seem like I have many options. Hell, Oct. 31st i'll be seeing Zack and Mira Make a Porno. Pretty sad that that is the only decent movie being released halloween weekend, let alone ON halloween. Is the horror genre dying?

lol best scene ever! They were like "wanna have pre marital sex... wanna smoke pot." lol they way they said that **** was funny then he sticksem in a sleeping bag and smashes em lol.
