This whole generation has been a huge dissappointment to me. The console I bought took about 6 months to get a few good games, the next one breaks eveey 3-6 months and the last one is too underpowered to play. Sure there were a few games with hope but the only one so far thet has actually impressed me was MGS 4. GTA IV had high expectations for me but the delays and obvious signs of missing features due to porting killed the game.

Then there was Home. Supposed to be released in October 2007 they said but here we are still wondering if it will even come out this year.

Last but not least we got FF 13. This was the final straw for me. Sqare enix whoring themselves to microsoft for a few extra bucks and now like GTA IV the game is going to suck thanks to porting. This was going to be my first FF purchase but not anymore.

So why did I spend 600 bucks? To wait? To have money whoring developers betray the very system that made them famous for money? I would have been better offf spending my money on a PC. These gaming companies have no idea what they are doing anyway. they dont kow what gamers want and they dont even know how to make a decent console. This whole generation is just a complete mess.

FF13 is being made now for the ps3 they didn't even start for the 360 yet. So do not worry. We still have versus

Dude I have been patient long enough. I bought my console in February 2007 and all i have seen from it is resistance, MGS4 and warhawk.

I'm with you. I sold my PS3 today and I'm getting rid of my Wii. I'll keep the 360 for Banjo but thats it. Get a Dreamcast or a SNES. I'm going to build my backlog, and play some old favorites.

as long as Nomura's PS3 preference lasts it should stay exclusive , unless micro is willing to shell out another huge check(i wouldnt doubt

) but as long as i still get to play them im happy

funny.. i got my console at the same time, and I enjoyed Motorstorm, uncharted, heavenly sword, MLB 07 and 08, Pain, Tekken 5, COD4, GTA IV, and bluray movies and ripped encoded movies galore. maybe im the only one that uses it as a media center.

His logic was fine. He was looking how well the previous games did on the 360. That is what he think will happen next for this one the same sales. Or that is what i think he i was thinking

I have all my songs and linux on my ps3. I love it as a media player but as a game console it needs to do much better. Look what its done. It managed to lose nearly all of its good exclusives and delay the rest to 2009. Im not saying that I dont like my ps3 because I do but im verydissappointed in the delays and how developers dont even want to try to use the ps3 to its fullest.

compatibility? That's a lot of Final Fantasies there....

So what your saying is that you are disappointed in this generation because they haven't tapped into the PS3's full potential? Yes I can see where you're coming from but this is only Sony's second year, while this is Microsoft's 3rd.
