Welcome to the September Member of the Month Contest! Please review the categories and guidelines below. The thread will be unlocked for voting on September 1, and will close on the last day of the month. Results and new titles will be posted on October 1.

* Please vote in every category and in the format below:
1. Best Contributor - MemberName

* Previous winners cannot be nominated for the same category 2 months in a row, but are eligible for other categories (February winners can not be re-nominated in the same category, but January winners can)

* Votes can extend to all site members, but it is encouraged to keep it within forum regulars

* Note: Some categories have been consolidated, and a new perk has been added: the winner of the Crazy Poster category may choose a new wildcard category for the next month.

Questions? PM Catastrophe.

1. Best Contributor - member who has contributed the most to N4G (in any way, shape or form)

2. True Gamer - member that loves the games and doesn't attack others and their game/console preferences

3. Overall Nice Guy/Girl - member who has a positive attitude, is always happy, and generally does not disagree with others - generally a nice guy/girl

4. Sharpest Member - member that often catches things that others miss

5. Most Helpful - member who helped the site in many other ways (similar, but different than "best contributer")

6. Quality Poster - member that lives by the motto "quality over quantity"

7. Forum Addict - member who is found "living" on the forums

8. Best Avatar - member who has a cool and eye catching avatar

9. Best Signature - member who has a strong and meaningful signature

10. Forum Tech - member who knows a lot about the technical side of things

11. Crazy Poster - member who posts random thoughts, comments, and makes people laugh The winner of this category may choose a new, wildcard category for the next month.

12. Jack of all Trades - a regular renaissance member

13. Best Intro - new member that posts the coolest, and most creative intro post to announce themselves to the community

14. Online Pal - member that regularly, and is fun to play with over the gaming mediums such as: XBL, PSN, etc...

15. Best Duo - a pair of members that are often seen posting together and replying to each other threads time and time again

16. Thread Hijacker - member that is often found hijacking threads and deviating from the original topic

17. Most Valuable Member: Our WildCard Category, chosen by Mystery Person!

Yeah, if you are voting on certain things like the quality of posts, wait for that month to end.

Also, I may change my signature to a picture of kevers, so I think I could win with that.

What I would suggest is actually that this thread should just be a discussion thread, and then a new thread should be opened for voting in at the end of the month in which no conversation is allowed at all (mods should delete non-voting posts).

1) People PM me votes (three last month).

2) Discuss all you want here, as I'm the one tallying I have no issue sifting through posts and I think making multiple threads will only create more work confusion.

3) People like to develop their votes as the month goes on, and I think having the thread open facilitates that.
