Well I just finished watching Trigun in its entirety last week, then watched all of Devil May Cry.  I'm currently watching Elfen Lied.  Although it's a bit over the top with the violence and nudity, I'm really enjoying it.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya  season 2 - Thus far it's been pretty boring since the last 6 episodes have been almost identical(those who are watching it will know what I mean) [not recommended] *until something interesting happens that is*

Tears of Tiara
- OMFG this series is amazing, in my opinion. It's sort of like Utawarerumono for those of you who watched that.[Recommeneded!!!!]

Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood - It's a lot closer to its manga now, a bit off still, but definitely a lot more action packed and interesting.[Recommeneded!!!!] *if you weren't satisfied by the original anime, this will satisfy you*

07-Ghost - Very unique, and interesting, at times its a bit hard to follow with all the odd terms used.[Not Recommeneded] *unless you are very interested in the story, it's really hard to follow*

Valkyria Chronicals
- Very similar to the game, and very interesting to see it animated, it's art style animated is just amazing.[Recommeneded!!!!] *Anyone who liked the game SHOULD like this*

I think that's everything I'm following atm.

dude i know what you mean, the nudity and pedo connotations were too much for me, i felt embarrased to be watching, it, but all anime has it's flaws even the great neon genesis had some weird sh!t.....

right now i'm digging Ergo Proxy more than anything else, my favourite anime series, at the mo, and my all time favs are ghost in the shell....both the movies and series, as well as neon genesis

I downloaded Tears To Tiara (in 720p) but haven't started it yet. Recently I've actually been rewatching Ranma ½, which I watched back in '98, and is still one of if not my favourite series of all time. I showed it to one of my cousins because I thought she may think it's funny, and she dug it to the max -- which was a tad surprising as she does not like anime -- and so, I am basically going through the entire series again with her. Which is fine because I've forgotten a lot of it.

Yeah man, I felt the exact same way as you.  If you can stomach it you should finish it, though.  IMO, despite all those shortcomings it was a really awesome Anime, the ending was pretty dramatic.  After I finished that, I watched all of Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni and Kai, just waiting for the last episode of Rei to be uploaded on AniLinkz, then I'll be done with that one.  Amazing friggin' Anime, btw.  Currently watching Death Note, also very good thus far.  I'm really starting to get hooked on this stuff.

I've have to disagree. It's similar to the game but some of the stuff they change kind of destroys how the character is portray in the game. I don't exactly how they keep adding Falido into everything. For those who loved the game, I'm not sure how you'll react. For me, it left a little bad taste.

Yup, it makes you wonder what's going on within the studio that's making it.

But back on topic, the anime I just finished was "Toradora!". It was a really well told story and it had a high quality of production.

I finished off watching Claymore, which was awesome but found that the branched off from the manga.  So now I'm watching Soul Eater and am about half way through.  I would highly recommend both shows although it took me a while to get into Soul Eater and it has one of the most annoying characters in Excalibur.  I hate episodes that focus on him.

Re:Series/Anime You Currently Watching - Wednesday, November 04, 2009 4:46 PM
the manga for claymore is about infinitely times better than the anime's final 4 or so episodes.  highly suggested you read it.

anyways, watching:
Nyan Koi
Sasameki Koto
Kimi no Todoke
Seitokai no Ichizon
Letter Bee
Kobato
Railgun
and continuing FMA

not a lot of action going on this season, but the slice of life/comedy genres are crazy good this time around.

plus for the winter, Dance in the Vampire Bund.  wooo.  can't wait for that.
