Well I'm playing SOTC and it won't save it gets about half-way there and it doesn't save, this happened before, but then I got it to save. Then it ejects the disc; and before anyone says anything yes I did buy it from gamestop (unfortunately).

I was playing it last night.

I have neevr experienced such a problem.

Clean it, or the disk might be bad. Are you playing it on a BC PS3 or your PS2?

Well does the disc have noticeable scratches? Is it new or a used copy that you bought from gamestop? Do you hear any weird noises when it tries to save?

You would probably have to trade it.

Try cleaning the disc, heck even blow the memory card or the disc tray and see if it helps.(If you are using a PS2 that is)

That sucks, that's never happened to me, I play on my 80gb. Could be the disk.

I'm playing it on my BC PS3 60 GB and it has never had a problem. I'm not sure if the disc is bad and I don't want to turn my PS3 off or I might corrupt the data.

Try it on your PS2 and see if it works.

If you still have the receipt you can bring it back for another use one.

Yeah, I'll if I can do that today, but now, how do I turn my PS3 off without corrupting any data?

Well, start a new game and save and see if it keeps on happening. If so then probably the game save is indeed the problem.(Or just save on a different "slot")

yeah, it's probably the disc.
mine plays fine.

maybe delete the data or the whole memory card altogether and make a new one.
hope you find a fix.

I'm probably just going to return the game and get another copy. I defeated 6 colossi and they were epic, but now the data is corrupted.

You should have just created a new memory card instead of turning it off. You can create a new memory card while in game.
