There is alot of user created content that will entertain and amuse you, it is very fun to play, i think you'd enjoy it, even if you don't make your own levels

welcome to the forums btw

Welcome to the forums!

Yes, you should absolutely buy this game, even if you do not plan on building levels.  I guarantee you, though, that you will get an itch to create your own levels after you play through some of them.

I think so...I played against you in COD4 and I thought I got it that day.  Anyway, it's the same as my N4G name.

I recommend you rent it first, its not for everyone. I personally found the game tedious. At the same time I know some people just downright love this game. Try it before you buy it, its not for all.

It's not for sad unimaginative xbots, that's for sure.

Pick it

The true beauty of the game comes from the level creator. If you like 2D platformers, then yeah get it. Playing co-op is pretty fun too. I am pretty amazed that the levels in the story mode were created by using the level creator.

I agree with him, the game isn't for everyone. It's fun, and too casual.  Rent first.

I reommend buying it ..it's really fun and addictive , and alot of user created levels are actually better than MM levels designed in the game....

if your not making levels, i personally didnt find the game itself to be all that fun, id recommend renting it first...although i pretty much knew going into it i wouldnt like it...but that doesnt mean much imo cause i went into Gears 2 thinking id love it and i dont.

the story mode rivals super mario bros 3 tbh. It is possibly one of the best platformers ever made, Besides the tutorials levels the game is F***ton amazing. If you enjoy platformers buy this game asap... If not, wait.

Of course you found it tedious.  You were actually playing Gears 2 because you don't have a PS3.

The game is a breath of fresh air. Even playing with random people is fun. I can see it not being for everyone but If it even seems like your kind of game, Go for it you will not be disappointed.

Definatly not buy, i just read that Sony will erase your levels if they contain anything that is an IP from another company and even Sony itself

So, add a mario reference in your level, and wait until it is erased

In short, you could be working weeks on a level, to have it erased by Sony in an instant without any explanation

So, i would never waste money on a level editor that will have my levels erased later, Sony can shove that game if they are to treat customers that way

It's not happening to all levels. I hope they actually start informing people of why their level got removed. Even still, any level you make can be played on your own console whatever content it contains. Furthermore, I'd like to see people showing more creativity rather than just recreating stuff. Sure, that shows off what the game's capable of, but originality is always nice ;)

He fully said he won't be making any levels, so all that bull you just said does not apply to him.
