I been smoking cigarettes for Umm.... about 10 years now.
I've not tried to quit I do go periods where i don't smoke thought
I mostly smoke Marlboro Lights.
When I do smoke I smoke on average half a pack a day.

If you are a smoker can you tell us:

How long you been a smoker?
How many times you tried to quit?
What do you smoke?
How much do you smoke a day?

and any other info you can think of

But.... how do I stay anonymous?

Been smoking for 5 years, camel lights all the way. I've done dip a couple of times here and there... but mainly smoking. I'm up to about a pack and a half on a work day... less than half on the weekend *unless i'm drinking*.

Yeah I did a research paper on smoking in College and man did that make not want to smoke. I'd rather much prefer virility over impotence and i'd like to avoid Lung Cancer and Emphysema.

I'm with Stanas on supporting the weed,

. Anyway I smoked Marlboro Lights for over two years (Good taste in cigarettes by the way) and quit. I smoked the last one on July 25, 2007. It was hard but I did it. I'm strong so it wasn't that bad for me. Supporting the weed didn't hurt.

I'm 22, I don't know how old you are or how long you been smoking. If you're young now is the time to quit if you were wanting to. Quiting cigarettes was one of the best and smartest choices I've ever made. I smoked between 1/2 to a pack a day. Video games help to take up some time.

I cant stand the smell of cigarettes. Smoked weed for a brief period of my high school days when I was 16. But certain moments in my life changed that drastically which motivated me to stop. Never smoked since.

I like the smell of cigs but I'm against them, cigars on occasion and weed at parties is ok in my book, as is alcohol. I just don't see the need for trying cigs multiple times, with the risk of habitual addiction.

I've been smoking cigarettes for 12 years. Started over the stress of a close relative passing away. Smokes are now close to $10 a pack in Canada. I tried quitting and can't. They are so addictive.

WOW! thats alot in canada for a pack of cigs! well unfortunately i dont smoke cigs....have before when i was 16. strong supporter of the HERBS!!!! now that i been smoking since i was 12.

A word to all of you non-smokers:

Get out of my f*cking bar... you bitch and complain to your senators to get smoking banned from bars, yet I watch you get completely sloshed, pushing yourself towards liver disease. Sorry... a whiff of my second hand smoke up your nostrile isn't worse than it going directly in my lungs... nor does it come anywhere close to it. Don't worry, unless you go to the bar all the time, you won't die of lung cancer or anything else from second hand smoke... but if you are going to the bar all the time you'll still probably die of liver failure first.

Oh... and bars and cigarettes just fucking fit.

edit- BTW, that was not directed to anyone here... just a general rant to non-smokers.

As a smoker I can tell you smoking is poison so I'm not defending it but for every person I know that has cancer from smoking, I know about three that have it and never smoked. Maybe it's the pollution, how our food chain has been tampered with, etc, etc.
