Anybody hear anything good about Hellboy: Science of Evil? I dig the character, but news on this game has been a bit lacking since it was announced. Could this be another Iron Man?

Also is anyone going to check out the movie or are you saving up for Batman?

Nah he was checking out the metacritic game. I really liked pan labyrinth and its the same dude directing so i am keeping my fingers crossed that HB2 may be passable

That sucks about the early reviews for the game.

I expect the movie to be fun. The first one was pretty cool. They really nailed Abe's character in that one. Doesn't seem wise to drop the sequel a week before Batman comes out, though.

If the idea of a big red guy with an oversized six shooter and a 200 year old fish man chasing demons around New York and doing battle with Rasputin sounds even remotely appealing to you then you should give it a rent. It's really well done if you can look past the outlandish source material.

You do know he did Hellboy before Pan's Labyrinth, ergo he's so far directing all the Hellboy movies.

You do know he did Hellboy before Pan's Labyrinth, ergo he's so far directing all the Hellboy movies.

It's funny watching Hellboy after seeing Pan's Labyrinth. You really can see a lot of similarities in style between the two. Like the scene in Hellboy where the big baddie gets reanimated and the blood pools around that circular stone is a lot like the scene at the end of Pan's Labyrinth (won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it).
