Status: offline 		will you start buying the ps3 version of games if fw2.4 hits soon,  if they are pretty much the same graphically.  I started buying ps3 versions because i dont wanna pay for live anymore, just want your guys opinion, you'll get trophies like live except you'll be able to put your favs in your trophie room so let me know what you guys think.

Status: offline 		I already have put a lot of work in my gamerscore, no point in turning back now and it just means eventually microsoft will make gamerscores even better to compete with sony.

Status: offline 		It'll still depend on what kind of pad I want to use for a game. 

I know I'm the odd duck on this but I'm getting the Star Wars game on the Wii because I want to use the force powers with motion.  I'm getting Dead Space on the 360 because I like that more for shooters, and I'm getting Highlander for PS3 because it seems like more of an action type game which will suit the PS3 pad nicely.

Status: offline 		No Ill continue to purchase all my multiplats on my xbox 360. For several reasons.

1. Xbox live is more robust and has more features and is also more stable.
2. Achivements
3. Controller preferance. Games play and look better on the Xbox 360.

4. The most important reason- Friends and family members are on xbox live.

People will keep buying the games on a console where their friends are at.

SocomNick's answer was the best one and that's why I buy PS3 games. (Even if I had a 360, I maybe only have 1 or 2 friends that own one).

Status: offline 		HA i take it you have two because your scared one of them can crap out at anytime.  I can respect the whole gamerscore thing but your building it for what reason now?  absolutely nothing, to all the xbox fanboys in here live is not more robust it just cost more than psn and when 2.4 comes out its going to be better cause its free, you guys kill me with the gamerscore, at least in home you can display 3d trophies in your homespace, xbox fanboys are so brainwashed with the gamerscore.

Status: offline 		prob stick with the 360 to be honest...all multi titles still sem better on 360 plus no one bloody speaks on PSN and since the xbox comes with a mic Live is much more Alive if you get me....plus i have a 32.000 odd gamerscore so i still want that to grow lol

Status: offline 		I don't care about achievements, and I care even less about pointless things like gamerscores. If achievements actually unlock some real content then yeah, I migtht care. But normally achievements is just an excuse to grind over the same content so I don't care. I care even less about Live's "features" because I don't like being stalked online. I very sick and tired of being invited to CoD 4 and Halo 3 games everytime I log on so I usually turn everything off.

Overall Live and PSN are the same to me. One charge me for features that I find useless, the other is free, but don't any have features.

As for multiplat games, I buy them for the PC whenever possible because of mods and they play the best on that platform.

The only exception being sport games like Madden, which I prefer to play on Live, the peer to peer nature of the genre lend itself to Live and its community features more.

Don't you think it's a lil to late for trophies or achievements on the ps3? What about all the other games that you have already played. I guarantee you that once you get hooked on the points, your going to be disappointed that this feature wasn't available on day 1. Your trophy room will feel incomplete. It's a feature that gamers want and Sony dropped the ball and added it way to late.

Please stop talking on something you dont know jack **** about. 2.4 isnt it out, home isnt out its all pure speculation. All I got to say is dont get too hyped on anything sony promises you because if its like anything they have lanched in the past it will dissapoint.

xbox fanboys will buy the xbox version
ps3 fanboys will buy the ps3 version
gamers will buy what they think is best for them

Status: online 		I have both systems and normally only buy exclusives for both.  I will pick up Madden for 360 just because I know most of my friends will be on that system. 

For me there are many more PS3 exclusives that I want over 360's.  That's why my collection is going to look very lopsided within the next year.

Status: offline 		the trophy thing is cool, and I guess it's something extra.  To respond to SCG, I think MS will counter it, but then SONY will counter that (HOME), and it'll go back and forth.  Also, it depends the game; most games look good on both consoles, whereas some ports aren't as good.  GhostBuster's is using as PS3 as the lead platform, and eventhough they say the 360 will be the same, the PS3 may have something extra or more.  In these cases, I will stick with the PS3. 

Also, Socomnick has a really good point; most of my friends are PS3 owners, and play online together, form clans, etc.  So it wouldn't make sense for me to get another console's version.
