damn august is pretty far but hopefully its nasty good, guess i listen to something mello like weezer red album  for now.

Yeah but it is such a good album. I do hope that their new album is as hardcore as Iowa. That album makes me want to preform some hellrasing acts.

Slipknot will be returning in 2008 with their fourth studio album.[65] Preparation for the album has been noted to have started in October 2007, recording was due to begin in January 2008, but it was pushed back to February. They are aiming for a September release.[4] For this release, the band has displayed interest in making it their heaviest album to date, such as the expansion of thrash metal riffing that was introduced on Vol. 3.[66] However, they also want to make it their most experimental record, and will be including more acoustic guitars and melodic vocals,[67] as well as introducing hi-hats and cymbals to the additional percussion.[68] The album will be the band's first work with Dave Fortman as producer.[69] Along with the album, the band will debut "evolved" masks and uniforms, which match the style of the new album.[70] Slipknot will headline the first ever Rockstar Mayhem tour festival from July and August 2008.[71] In addition, the band will be playing the Reading and Leeds Festival in August.[72]
Slipknot will also be touring Europe and the UK in the latter months of 2008, with the bands Machine Head and Children of Bodom opening at their concerts.[73] In May 2008, Shawn Crahan confirmed that Dimmu Borgir will also be supporting Slipknot in Scandanavia, Germany and UK[

Status: offline 		yeah i saw them once, they claimed that vol 3 was going to be their last with all the side projects the members had going on.... this is the first ive heard of the new album.... cant wait to hear it

    Status: offline     		That I know of nothing new for stone sour for now. Since stone sour's release of their last album a year or 2 ago, corey went back to slipknot to work with slipknot on this new slipknot album.  So I wouldnt expect anything new from stone sour for at least anohter 2 years

    Status: offline     		Ya, Love Slipknot and Stonesour for that matter. They are coming in concert in July here in Phoenix with Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch and quite a few other bands. Should be a good show, however it will likely be 115 degrees plus in the middle of July.
