They should have stuck with Seinfeld... while it didn't make sense either, atleast it was somewhat funny.  The only thing this commercial has going for it is the beautiful girl that is taking law in paris.

This is a very smart move on Microsoft's part. Very smart. They basicly said..... "fack you Apple, we'll go along with you shiety adds".

I'm a PC, but only cause I really don't care what gets me to N4G.

i wonder if the Apple sales going up is intimidating MS. i mean, they own like 90% of the computer market.

I believe we will be seeing heavy advertising from MS in the coming months both for the 360 at $199.00, and "PC".

So, they're all PCs.  And...

Where's the part in the ad (ad is short for advertisement) that shows the product I'm supposed to buy.  Oh, I get it.  I'm supposed to buy into the whole PC lifestyle thing.  Well, it didn't work.  I still don't care.  Hi, you're a PC and a stereotype.  Then do something different.

That's my point.  They're trying to selling the lifestyle, not a product.  If you are not confident with your lifestyle a commercial isn't going to make you feel better.  In my opinion, I think that is a waste.

Yet the mac ads are getting the job done for apple, why can't microsoft get it down?

It was a good ad because it killed off the i'm a PC ads. This is important because if apple continues to release them then they will be targeting PC owners.

If Apple owners are that desperate for someone to say they are doing the right thing then I won't buy another Apple product just so I won't be associated with them.  Apple is a bunch of money hungry Microsoft wannabes.  Not that Microsoft is any better for stooping to their level.
