For those of you who have steam then use the Steam commuity website to keep track with your friends, make new ones and check each others profiles. In a way, its Xbox Live on the PC. The link is below:

I use Steam, but I'm still forced to use dial up where I live. It pisses me off because I miss out on stuff like this not to mention actually gaming online aswell. Right now my Steam Ranking is 0 - Teh Suck.

While I love Xbox Live, I gotta admit, the games for windows is pretty crappy. I think everyone should use Steam, it would be much better.

They should have a feature that lets you search for groups to join.

In what way is this bad? There is nothing wrong with friend tracking and group support. This just shows that you can have an online community and not have to pay a dime for it.

I'm hoping that Steam Community opens Microsoft's eyes to what Xbox Live should really be: free. Online gaming is a right, not a privilege.

Steam was fine now it is twice as good. Games for windows is trying to ruin PC gaming. This is steams turf, no BS yearly fees.

Go to this link here... http://www.google.com/translate?langpair=en|en&u=http://steampowered.com/v/static_web.php?

It's called a proxy server, and you can get around blocked sites that way. It's through Google.com and it's perfectly safe.

You can do that with any website, the base URL is "http://www.google.com/translate?langpair=en|en&u=" put whatever site you want after the '=' sign, and you're allowed access.

All this is possible, if you're not familiar with a proxy, because you're accessing that page through Google, not the actual site itself. What you'll get is the translation (english to english!) of the page you want to see (or any other language if you want). The only way this would not work is if Google.com were added to your company's blocked site blacklist.

I'm in the rurals of Wyoming county. It's really stupid....I could drive 5 minutes in either direction and there are cable lines, but they will never come to my house. I guess that's the price you pay for living in a nice quiet area.

So now that Orange Box is out and hopefully you've all played it, what are your Steam Community ratings? Mine is currently 8.9 Cobra Kai!!!
