Stop saying mgs4 is better than gta 4 when you havent played ittttt. Im a big fan of mgs series my favorite ones so im not saying this because i hate it but because you people are annoying. By the way beat all three mgs in 3 weeks. Im ready for mgs 4!!!!

stop letting what someone says about a game affect you

GTA4 = Most overrated game of all time. If you took an internet poll amongst hardcore gamers (majority of N4G) then i bet you, majority would vote accordingly.

MGS4 has to be better than GTA4 or it fails...in my eyes anyway

Don't own a PS3, never played MGS either but I'm sure it will be MUCH better than GTA4. Overrated, probably the most overrated game of all time.

a game is only what YOU make it to be, if you say one is better than the other, then thats all that's to it. Not because some faceless dude on the internet says otherwise, they don't know your taste in games so they can't tell you which is better.

The wait is killing me. This is one of the VERY few games I really look forward too. The 12th still seems like months away to me.

Saying MGS4 is better than GTA IV is like saying July 26, 2009 will be 70 F with rain in the evening. Just like MGS4 it hasn't happened yet either. They can both end up being superb games. GTA IV already is. It's just the in thing now to trash the game. That doesn't effect how much I enjoy the game or how well it's selling. People that hate the game are a very vocal minority.

. I just ignore the topics that say a game is better than the other. Even if it's true (like, halo 3 is better than spiderman 3) just ignore it.

It did start off really good but after the halfway point everything got generic and there weren't any missions that felt "new" after the bank heist. Chase a guy here, go into building crawling with guys and kill there. I wanted to love this game but it just didn't have the connection as previous versions.

MGS4 is the culmination of a story most of us have been following for years. We've been waiting for this moment for a long time and what we have seen so far confirms it will be nothing short of spectacular. GTA4 was not what we've all been waiting for in a next-gen version in any way.

Yep Halo3 was the most over rated game until Rockstars decided to take that tittle away with GTA4.

and by the way can you explain again how is GTA4 & MGS4 even related? why it needs to be better then GTA4? are we stealing Metal Gears and running away from police in MGS4?

That would be really cool. You could make your own army like that. Then use it online.

Yeah that's true we should. But don't get me wrong...I don't hate GTA4. It just disappoints me that it could have been so much more.
