Hi, when starting Motorstorm 2, my PS3 makes weird clicking noises. During the intro video and start menu. I am just wondering if this happens to anyone else and if it is normal. Thanks.

...actually have never heard clicking...but for some odd reason every now and again the disc will skip (like the sound of the music and all) and i have to take it out and "clean" it.....(i keep my stuff really clean in the first place, so it's even more weird)

it is the only game of mine that does this....

lol, nice pics eldioni. makes me really wish there was a replay mode with a video editor for online games so you could take pics or vids of squashing friends for bragging rights. i would have a whole photo album of eldioni being squarshed by my dino-truck!  lol just kidding you filthy out there too. I'll be racing in a few join me. Maddens that means you too if you can break yourself from far cry 2 that is.

.....this is one of those games that i had in the arsenal, but kept under wraps for a little while over the holidays due to the title glut that ensued there for a while.....all i can tell you guys, is that if you buy this game.....you will not be wasting money......catch my drift..... (i know that pun was laaaame)

i played far cry 2 for about 40 plus hours and really tried to love it. the graphics are amazing so at first it's quite entertaining. about halfway through the game though nothing in the missions change at all so it becomes very repetative with lots of long trecks in between locations. i kinda just lost all interest. i think it's a game you either love or hate. for me, i'm just patiently waiting for killzone.

also i've been a huge fps fan for a long time so i was really looking forward to far cry 2, maybe my hopes were too high.

...aaaahhh HH, you just crushed my soul..........noooooooeeees....::falls limp to the ground like the wicked witch of the east::

...oh man dude....that was major buzzkill info......just lie to me.!  ha ha j/k man....i'm just taking it one step at a time....for now...

i'm a reality nut and a big traveller in real life, so for me the travel and back and forth is kind of cool, and there is nothing more fun than recon-ing an outpost and planning your attack....i love the way guys attack from different areas each time and different tactics....and the scenery (biting knuckles) is magnifique! Ubi Montreal has literally transported my ass to Africa it seems.......you can waste soooooo much time with this game and i'm loving it now......once i get to those middle missions i'll let you all know what i think and if it becomes a bit too stale....but from all accounts so far this game seem to be a solid A for me.  i mean there are a few pop up issues here and there and the rare screen tearing i get when i push the maps to the nth degree (like shooting up the sides of certain mountains and cliffs where i'm not supposed to be ) but other than that, i love the pace of the game and the WIDE OPEN - DO - ANYTHING feel it gives you.....

HH we need to get in some MP with HecticKris man.......he has invited me to test his new level but i haven't yet.....but we surely can....

as for mp i haven't even touched it as i am completely immersed right now, hunting down that bastard the Jackal....(aah... if only i had some Trigens on my side to help....)..you too dragun..buy this game....
