Honestly Jack...I don't know if it's by subconscious design or what, but I haven't even bothered looking at any of that stuff.  I loved the 1st one and this one is a no brainer.....I just play it..and it gets the Madden Seal of Approval for Kick Ass games.   All I know is that Sony screwed the pooch by not advertising for this game...I believe it could easily be a flagship title for them at least for a season or two....I mean there's nothing wrong with pumping LBP...it's a beautiful,  game appeals to a wide demo, but this game would do even better if it was well advertised...if.....only...if...I mean double (or triple) your pleasure right?........but people are getting laid off left and right nowadays though (and it's not the only game they've underadvertised for, but by far it's one of the most severe)...so what can you do?

get some popcorn.....that's what...

Some trophies unlocks vehicles, drivers or extras. If you want to have them all need the platinum trophy. Hardcore enough?

Great job Korosuke.  now try going in and beating at least 48 of the developer's ghost times (with each vehicle of course) to start with,  and then go on to beat all 128 developer's ghost times for even more cars and nice gallery collections (videos, driver packs, cars).  This will keep you busy for a while and will get you prepared to run faster times in ranked games where you can pick up some extra trophies for repeated victories online against ranked opponents.

If ranked races aren't what you're looking for right away, you can still host some custom races and win trophies, i.e., 50 victories in light vehicle, medium vehicle, and heavy vehicle.  There are a lot of ways to obtain these remaining elusive trophies (especially the 4 player splitscreen victory ) but be creative and stay persistent...you will get them all eventually.

@dragunov - I upload them through tinypic which has a setting which automatically resizes the photos upon transfer.  I do that on some or automatically go in and resize them to 800x450 if doing individual upload..(this is ideal size for N4G).

The time attack of this game is not my cup of tea. Done the festival mode is enough for me. It's time to go back to the ohter games. But I'm sure I will play online for a quick fun at times.

No problem man.  I hear ya on the other game comment too lol...I keep telling myself that I need to get back to WarHawk, and SOCOM, and Dead Space, LBP...etc, but I can't stop playing this until I have every last trophy including the platinum....I'm too close to turn away now.  Hopefully I'll see ya on the track one day for some casuals.  Take care.

Logontree, you're ****ing fast, and maddens too but its been along time since we don't meet, hope one of these day can race with you two and korosuke too, just for fun.

Respawns must be fixed, i hate to trample someone just to see it respawn before me with full boost

Yeah logontree, I'm not quite there...still screwing around a lot offline as there IS SO MUCH TO DO there.  I like messing around on all the tracks and checking out each little nook and crannie...and also taking errr...ummm photos. 

And yes...if I've said it once, I've said it a million times.  This really is one of Sony's best titles to date and people that are sleeping on it are doing themselves a huge disservice.

Ha Ha yeah the respawns are a work of art.  I agree that they can be tweaked a bit for the better, but it's made to keep the fast player where "they would've been" had they not wrecked....but I agree...that's one area that could be tweaked; however I suspect this will lead to millions of broken controllers and scarred coffee tables once done.

But sometimes is just unfair, and gives advantage to the small and fast vehicles. If someone wish to pass my monster truck with a bike just do it with intelligence and skill, not with luck

It makes me happy to see you guys embracing this awesome, awesome title. At some time we have got to get together and tear it up a bit.  I know most people new to the 'Storm feel a little intimidated by it, but rest assured -- you shall not be intimidated when playing me as I am always fair (just don't ask mquirroz) -- and might I add that Dragunov, logontree, and Korosuke are other N4G players that can show you around as well.  The most fun with Motorstorm is had when you get a party of friends together to just b.s. and rip around the tracks together (and eventually participating in ranked games once you're seasoned).  Vio and Bill -- great news to have you guys in the mud with the rest of us lunatics.

i'm getting this sometime in Jan.
i missed out on MS1 because it didn't have co-op

loved the demo of MS:PR though and Whooop or someone told me it's the ugliest track in the full game.
i'm not much of a racer fan but i need a racer in my library and PR will be it.
