Status: online 		Can it be? Will Bloodmask get the most disagrees in N4G History?

Here is the topic: E3 08: MGS4 on 360 'impossible', says Sony

Jack Tretton: “Metal Gear Solid is not only exclusive on PS3 – it’s only possible on PS3, thanks in part to Blu-Ray.“

He added: "PS3 drove the Blu-Ray format to victory and now the Blu-Ray format is poised to return the favour.”


Bloodmask: "That is like saying you couldn't put Metal Gear Solid 4 on the PC. The newer PCs and graphics cards blow away any console as far as specs and power are concerned. And they don't have a Blu-ray drive as standard.

All they would have to port Metal Gear solid 4 to the 360 and/or PC is put in on multiple disks. Blu-ray is nothing but a storage medium."

well considering it has nothing to do with graphics card cababilities, and everything to do with how the game was coded.. i say everyone disagreeing with you is correct

Yeah but my post is still on the front page and the disagrees are on the rise. I have also gained 5 additional ignores for stating that 'any' game can be made on both PS3 and 360.

Actually you can modify a game engine to run on any platform. Have you ever heard of the Unreal Engine 3 that was developed and optimized for PC architecture? Then later on was retooled to work on the Cell for the PS3.

Or how about Burnout Paradise which was coded for the Cell and then ported to the 360? Your argument makes no sense whatsoever.

By the way anyone can get that many disagrees. One just has to pick the right comment at the right time and post the wrong thing. It takes giving it your all to get 170 people to ignore you though (*cough, cough Bill Gates).

I like everyone saying see the capablities are the same and touting FFXIII, when first of all there have been no gameplay videos of the game.. and the development on the 360 hasnt even started.. but we'll see
