No it's not Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo. The truth is that if you look closely at many of the top games of E3, it's fairly obvious that the winner of E3 is clearly user generated content. Games like Little Big Planet, Guitar Hero 4, Spore, animal crossing, and a few others are pushing the mark in terms of what they allow players to do in terms of expressing themselves through video games. Some say that only a small group of people will use these features, but i'm not sure if thats accurate. I am sure many of us are interested in game development, and if we could make something that others would enjoy playing. These games are only the first steps in allowing average people to try and create something meaningful, to themselves and to others. So in the end I ask all of you, how important is user generated content to you in gaming, will you spend time with these features, and do you think that these features could help drive more people into gaming development as a career?
