Might i remind you that the year is not 1996, and that youre over exaggerations hold no weight anymore. Just because you cant adapt, doesnt mean you gotta **** all over it.
lol console idiots, the lowest form of intelligence on this planet.
I've played console and pc shooters, goldeneye was one the best fps's of all time, but this is not about which is the better control scheme....anyone who has played both knows that pc is 1000 times better for shooters, it is more accurate, Fact. You don't need to play games competitively to see that mouse/keyboard is a better way to play fps games. Pc's will always have better graphics. Which brings me back to my question, what exactly is superior about the 360 version?
I've played both and I prefer controllers, Fact.
Not gonna argue about the graphics thing but I payed 300 for my xbox. How much was your PC?
300usd for the xbox.. mmm lets make it a bit more clear... cause there are many hidden costs of owning the xbox. i belive console gaming is alot more expensive then gaming on a pc.
here is a comparison for you xbox vs pc, over 5 years time.
consoles are more costly then pc. heres why:
The price difference between console and pc games are enough to turn the tide.
PC gaming doesnt need yearly upgrades maybe on the 3rd year minor gpu upgrade will be good. upgrades are not needed anymore because games are now made with consoles in mind, hence progress has become stagnant. which is why even a pc created 2 years ago with a 8800gtx will constantly outperform a console for the rest of the generation, while costing the user cheaper.
cost of playing a xbox 360 for 5years (assuming it doesnt fail and you dont need to buy a new one)
300usd price for the console
250usd for xbox live
4425 usd price for games (over a period of 5 yrs if only 15 games are bought a year)
cost of playing the xbox 360 over 5 years 4975usd
While paying the above costs the console user played at 720 or below graphics and low/med res textures, no mod support, no kb/mouse support.
Cost of playing on pc:
500usd for a gaming pc
150usd gpu upgrade after 3years
3675usd cost of 5 years of games 15 games each year (pc games cost 49usd instead of 59usd so cost is much lower)
PC gaming cost the user usd4325 over a period of 5 years. while it provided user with higher resolutions, overall better experience and the user didnt get ripped buy middle men like sony or micro. Overall the pc was cheaper by 650usd. This gap increases as more games are bought, more taxes for sony or micro.
also note the 360 does 720p at best and once the pc user gets the 150usd upgrade 3 years later his system will again be very capable of handling the latest games... 360 on the other hand by that time will be doing 480 or for the same game while the pc user will still be at 1080p.
console gaming is costly in the long run.. dont let the initial 300usd price tag fool you.
