im trading my psp phat in at gamespot to get money torwards the madden09 slim bundle. is there anything they check before taking the psp? if anyone knows please post what they check before they take it

Wouldn't you get more selling it on eBay or Craigslist? They really just check the screen and that it does turn on and read UMDs and memory sticks last I knew. Serial number sticker has to be intact too.

It varies, just call a Gamestop in another city or something to see what the policy is. That way if they tell you what you don't want to hear, chances are you can still go to the one you intend on going to in order to see if it works anyway.

yeah, frigin EB games is only going to offer me $60 for my Daxter silver psp.
i want to trade it in for the GoW one.

i might try to sell it on eBay.

i would do that, but i dont know how easy it would be top sell a psp with a malfunctioning sound sisterboard

if i had the damn bar code intact id be able to sell to gamespot for $70 without them knowing

wait is the daxter psp a slim? id buy it from you if its resonably priced

Don't do it, the slim sucks, I have the FF7:CC one and a good old fat one, the slim and lite is cheap and filmsy, the pull out bit at the side for the MS stick is just annoying and I put my hand behind the UMD door everytime I open it and ease it open slowly in fear the door will fall off as it's so cheap. plus I swear to god it needs charging more often.

Only thing it has over the original is better placement for the speakers and a slightly improved analog stick.
