I have to say I like it. I notice that the site loads almost all at once, which makes it seem faster imo. also the 474kb install is nice too. Flash worked without an install either.

Heh yeah looks like you missed out in Randomicity It is pretty fast and I like how you can highlight something and google it by right click along with spell checking a word the same way. Dragging tabs is neat but I suppose not that big of deal just one of those things...

I don't know a few FF users were rather impressed with Chrome.... naturally the add-ons are not here yet but someday right It feels odd not having the google toolbar though it's all in one box!

They've got an OS for internal use. It should be made publicly available some day.

Well why don't you put it on display? That was why I went to the trouble of attaching it to your existing banner.

Hmm... I think it works very nicely, much better than IE7 or 8 do. It only really has one downfall at the moment, and that's the lack of Add-On support - but that's a Firefox speciality. Given how Chrome is open source, however, expect a large amount of Add-Ons to arrive soon. I mean, remember this hasn't even been in open beta for half a day. Of course it isn't going to compete with Firefox yet.

But it will. I mean, even if Google has to stop funding Firefox so they can spend more money on Chrome.

It's not perfect, but what a great start for a first beta. I remember when opera first came out way back in the 90's (I think) and it completely sucked. It did this weird thing where everything opened in a new window...

Didn't notice that yet. Maybe they're trying to encourage people to use Google reader. That's going to put some people off, though. I'm sure it'll be included before 1.0 drops.
