Am i the only one that thinks that is probably not a good idea. Especially with Indiana Jones still breathing.

Other than making money I've never understood the need to make a movie out of a game that's already like a movie.

I think it'll make a good movie, but not yet. not just with Indiana Jones comming out but the game is still new. i think some time in between the 2 would be better. like the hitman movie, its been a few years sense the last hitman game. Then after watching it i was like, hey, I'm gonna play the hitman game again and dig it out. but Uncharted is still fresh in everybodys mind.

Uncharted is pretty much Indiana Jones already; the gameplay mimicks the movies almost exactly. Adventure out for lost treasure; adventure has other people chasing him for the treasure; all of a sudden there is something supernatural about the treasure; people get killed by the supernatural; adventurer beats the supernatural, beats the bad guys; adventurer gets the girl. Roll Credits

It should definitely stay a game...I agree...it'll be a Indiana Jones knockoff.

But it depends on the director I guess.....

It might not be so bad if Uwe Boll got his hands on it though...
It'll take place in New York or Miami and be in the year 2085.

Drake would be a fearless DD blonde heroine in skintight leather who knows all kinds of martial arts, and has training in every kind of firearm on the planet.

She isn't afraid to get cozy with the men and women for no reason at all. The main plot/quest is to take back the long lost holy grail, which is being held by a evil corporation. The other two characters only exist as names for her gold desert eagles, which she dual-wields while jumping through the air in some awesome bullet-time sequences.

The soundtrack will consist of nothing but bad heavy metal and dance remixed versions of in-game music....It'll be filled with 90 minutes of car chases, unexplained explosions, zero plot development, fights, shootouts, and random sex scenes that make no sense at all....

oh yeah, and Jurgen Prochnow will show up dressed like he just got the set of Das Boot.

It'll be like a whole new movie...thus eliminating the chance of being a Indiana Jones knockoff...problem solved.

Uncharted story > indiana story
now that is over, I'm going to come to the conclusion that Indiana Jones should ask for this game not to become a movie...
