I just got Warhawk (yeah I know, late to the party) and I was wondering what are some good tips/tricks/strategies that would help prevent me from getting owned to kingdom come.

I think that there was another thread just like this, with weird strategy names.

well dont try sniping its not very easy in warhawk.

dont stand in the open.

use the machine gun at all times against people unless your realy close to people.
when you are in close use the flamethrower,.

never use your pistol. they suck. its easyer to use the knife.

never hover in a plane. you will die within 10 seconds.
my personal favorite plane gun is the cluster bomb, the light blue one. when trying to drop it on enemy shoot it early because it has momentum and will keep going forwards.

the easyest ways to get kills is to get on the big turret that shoots locking missiles. they are a one hit kill against airplanes and can take our a tank or jeep in but they can only lock on to planes, sometimes planes dont go within range of your missile for a while.....just wait.....or if your that desprate for action try to find one closer to the action. the best ones to be on are in the middle of the levels or just our side enemy base.

tanks are also easy ways to get kills.

use a flamethrower to kill one easily. or if your at a distance use the rpg but that will take several shots.

binocculars will take a plane/tank/jeep/anything out easily so if you find them dont waste it.

Use chaff to evade rockets while in Warhawk

Camp in Turrets/Missile launchers

Rapidly tap R1 when using Pistol

When shooting manually with Warhawk, keep the aim assist on the enemy to get autoaim [also with ground vehicles]

yes powerslike while twirling will get you out of a lot of missle locks

Do the flight training mission. Learn how to scrub missiles locked onto you
Learn the maps and where the weapons are.
Know your lockon range.
Learn to hit select and keep an eye on the map and where your enemy is.
GET A GOOD WORKING HEADSET

Stay focus! best thing to do is to arm yourself rifle(must).

   STAY OUT OF THE AIR (GREAT PILOTS will take your SOUL)!

    Alway find the LANDMINES easy kills for beginners(just mine all vehicles).

     Stay in the ROOKIE SERVER(any other and player ranked are just plain CHAOS)!

Bump

So I played a couple of matches online and it turned out pretty well. Last I checked my K:D was 2.63. But majority of my matches were on the ground.

I'm looking for some really good flying tips now.
