for the past few days i've been hooked on Fallout 3 because i just bought 3 of the 5 DLC and that's why we need more because the DLC are so good that you want to go back to Fallout 3 to play it over and over again and it helps open up the Fallout universe

I agree!. I'd love to see some more DLC for Fallout 3 specially like another house to own or something like that, but With Fallout New Vegas being worked on there isn't a need for more Fallout 3 (even though we want it heh)

I like the idea of a new Elder Scrolls too. Haven't bothered with any of the Fallout DLC. By the time it came out on PS3 they had kinda missed the boat, imo. I platinum'd Fallout 3 and put that sucker away months ago. Not really inspired to go drudging through the wastelands again after all this time.

It's never too late to update a game with new content!

PS360WII It's never too late to update a game with new content! actually there is a "too late" at least for me, to be honest had it been available a few months after release my interest in FO would still be at an all time high or had I waited for the GotY edition but then my interest would be focused on something more linear by then. Sad to say I've played enough of it to get bored of the core mechanics that the DLC feels irrelevant.

Sad to say I've played enough of it to get bored of the core mechanics that the DLC feels irrelevant. I'm still waiting for SE to release some extra levels for Mario RPG on the SNES but yeah it's hard to figure out release dates for DLC. Some get mad if it's released shortly after the retail game while some get mad if it's been to long after the retail game so it's a crap shoot. BioWare has talked about that 2nd dlc for Mass Effect but still haven't released it and I want it but I'm sure a lot feel it's to late.

Wasn't the first one just another identical warehouse on a dead planet to go explore and kill things in? I loved Mass Effect's main quest, but the side quests were weak and I hear the DLC doesn't do much to remedy that. At least in Fallout the side missions were unique.

Yeah I have to say the side quests in Mass Effect were very uninspiring. The dlc did give us a new type of land mass with more use of the Maco and the warehouses where the same design but had it set up differently, but they did have one new building were the main boss was. So it was a mix mash of old and new. The 2nd is suppose to be this fight club thing and take place in the Citadel I believe... but yeah Fallout 3 had amazing DLC in comparision.

Fallout had great side missions in the game itself, it all felt like you were really doing the quests to help someone unlike Borderlands where the side missions are only there accepting it doesn't make it feel any different. To me though DLC for any platform should be a couple months from the release date at least and 4-6 months at most anything later and to me I lose interest. The only DLC that has come past 6 months of the title's release that I'm looking forward to is the Ballad of Gay Tony since it seems like it's adding stuff that I felt should have been in the main game, the things that would make it more fun. Luckily for me Episodes from Liberty City is a retail game and I won't need to buy GTA4 again, which means I can just say to myself that I'm buying a new GTA game.
