using windows blinds? I have that wallpaper as well. You got it from interfacelift right? ITs a little harder to find 1920x1200 wallpaper so either i go to deviant art.com or interfacelift typically.

mine is totally devoid of desktop shortcuts. Before Vista, I used to have black background with no wallpaper. It loaded faster that way.

you don't need a camera, just hit f13 or prtscrn on your keyboard to take a screenshot of your desktop, paste it in paint, and save it...if your using windows..

I'm running a wallpaper switcher like what's in Vista. The one in Linux is a bit more robust IMO, and I have it switch my background at home every 12 hours. At work, I have about the same setup.

I like to keep my backgrounds and window themes different from work and home though. Since Thanksgiving I've had the switcher looking at winter and Christmas themed stuff... it's pretty nifty (esp when you can change your theme to Christmas and whatnot).

Little dual screen action here

Yes i have a deep seeded dislike of desk icon. They clutter my pictures.

Not Windowblinds, just Objectdock (the program that gives me the program dock at the bottom and hides the start menu). Yep, the wallpaper is from interfacelift, definitely the best place for 1920 wallpapers.

Yup, this is Windows XP.

Your desktop reminded me of a friend's, whose OS I've been trying to figure out (I'm not gonna ask. Never.).

Anyway, it has the XP taskbar, along with a program dock thing at the top, AND it has the Linux cube thing.

Like..what the hell?

If you would like to see more (different wallpapers), some of the programs (I have several programs for working with my guitar (I use a guitar pedal sometimes so I mix and record on my laptop) openoffice, anything you want to see, people usually get very curious when they see Linux), etc, etc. Just ask. Linux makes screenshots (and even uploads them automatically to photobucket for me very easy)

The program under is my feed reader where it sucks up news coming from everywhere. :)

I'm not going to even bother posting mine, I just got a new computer and haven't had time to deck it out.  I use to have stylexp and other mods that made it look absolutely nothing like windows.  It was wonderful...
