My Top 5:
1. The Last Guardian
There's no real guarantee that The Last Guardian will come out in 2010 since it doesn't even have a rumored release date yet, and honestly it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't come out until 2011, but since everything seen from the game since the E3 trailer has been running In-Game, I'm pretty hopeful that it'll be out Fall 2010 at least. Team ICO is one of my favorite Sony 1st party devs., and I've always loved the games they've produced. Even though Team ICO has only made 2 games, each of those games shook the gaming industry in their own unique way, and I'm expecting nothing less from The Last Guardian.... and that's why it's my most anticipated game of 2010.
2. Gran Turismo 5 & God of War 3 (tied for 2nd, just couldn't rate one game under another)
The reason why GT5 and GOW3 are tied for 2nd is because I love both franchises to death and I'm looking forward to both equally. After playing through GT5P, I've been itching for the full GT experience like mad, and there's no doubt GT5 is my most anticipated Racing game for the entire 2010 year... heck, GT5 has been my most anticipated Racing game this entire generation. I pre-ordered the God of War 3 Ultimate Edition Friday and I'm hoping GT5 has some kind of Collectors Edition too.
3. Heavy Rain
I never played the full version of Indigo Prophecy (I only played the demo), but I liked what I played in the demo, so I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy Heavy Rain since both games are pretty similar. Also, from a Story/Emotional standpoint I'm looking forward to seeing how much Heavy Rain delivers.
4. AGENT
Hardly anything is known about AGENT, but it's an Exclusive from Rockstar North, and considering their track record, I'm definently be looking forward to seeing what they do in this game.
5. Resistance 3
I might get laughed at for including Resistance on this list, but I loved some aspects of R2 over R1 like bigger battles on an increased sense of scale, and better graphics, but other than that, I enjoyed almost every other aspect of Resistance 1 more. I'm hoping that Insomniac takes all the criticism they received over R2 and delivers something really great with Resistance 3.
