At first it seems like this would be a great way for the average gamer to get more cashola, but really being classified as an investor seems like more of a job than a hobby, so anyone who actually buys videogames to sell probably already knows about all this tax mumbo jumbo For a country which according to many economics commentators will be the most influential country in the world is certainly being made to look foolish by the Olympics. Terrorism, human rights violations, protests, pollution issues. Most countries refuse to eat china's food, drink their water or even breathe their air.

So I have been thinking of some curious issues these situations bring up.

Many celebrities, political figures and businessmen are trying to use the Olympics as a soapbox to save lives or make China change its different policies or political actions. While others say that the Olympics should be separate from these affairs and not used as a bargaining chip, that it should just be about sports and all the central Olympic themes. Where do you stand, do you think that Human Rights comes first and then when that’s all sorted let the Olympics happen or do you want all the political whining to stop and let the athletes do what they have trained their entire lives for?

Also with how poorly china is handling their preparation for the Olympics (kicking people out of Beijing, banning people with disabilities or mental illnesses, forcing citizens to stay in their homes; countries refuse to drink China’s food, water or breath their air. How badly will all these embarrassments and problems affect China’s image? Do you think China will lose even more credibility and perhaps even economic opportunities once people more clearly see how poorly China is being run, I mean Beijing is a famous city and to have it looking so poorly must be a big disgrace.

Finally, do you even know or care about anything that has been going on with the Olympics or is the Olympics just that time when TV gets even more boring than usual?

I am of 6 minds about boycotting the games.

1. I didn't spend 4 years of my life training for just a week of pay offs. Whose business of anyones where I go to practice my trade? I represent American Land of the Brave home of the leave me alone.
2. If America doesn't sand against evil who will. They sell arms to our enemies, have an army on the internet keeping everyone ignorant of the evil they do, they kill my brothers and sisters in the faith.
3. It seems a little convent that the world wants US not participate. Maybe they don't want our Athletes doing what they do.
4. We should go there and will all the gold we can and steal the rest at night. To show up those commie-bastereds.
5. Commies and all leftist aren't as good at what they do as they think they are. Just keep the live feed humming and stand back. All leftist slip up, all. China is a powered keg revolts happen all the time.
6. Off all the pressing issues of the world I can name 100 off my head that are more important the some stupid group of games. How about Bush release Ramos and Campion. How about you lean of Judge Julian Hal. Boycotting the Olympics isn't going to force China to release anyone.

I do find it funny that Obama thinks Bush shouldn't go to the opening game in fears of legitimizing China's abuse on the people. All the while Obama is planing to meat with Iranian Hitler.

Any politician looking to fulfill their own personal agenda gets an instant thumbs down from me, and a frowny face.

Actually a lot of parks, golf courses and different gardens paint their grass and plants with different vegetable dyes to make them look more impressive year round, it is cheaper than hiring people to take care of the plants properly.

Double edge sword.  On one end I do feel the Olympics should just be a pure form of when all nations get together in the spirit of competition and have fun.  On the other end I see that China is an evil empire stuck well into the past and how horrible they are with repression and forced policies.  They are way to old school and have no care for the other man and as such should be brought to the lime light.

Olymipics are not meant for political ambition but they will always be used for such, so China is getting it's just desert however I do not believe anything will come of it at all.

As long as it doesn't mess with the martial arts areas or Women's Beach Volleyball, I don't really care.
