I figured that I would bring this to people's attention, that guns for citizens are legal to have in Washington D.C., and what that means for other large cities.  Me living in Chicago, this sounds a little scary.  27 kids have gotten killed by gunfire in chicago since last september.  I don't know how responsible people are with their guns but I'm kinda worried that if they take the ban, we'll see more guns in the wrong hands.

Some people seem to think legislation making guns illegal will stop murders. However, I've always wondered if legislation is all it takes then why not just make murder illegal?

They took our guns away a long time ago. I don't expect to see them back for a long time.

What? I get cybernetic bear arms? F*cking sweet, I fully endorse that right. Other than that, all I want is a Smith and Wesson 500 or a Mateba Unica IS THAT SO MUCH TO ASK FOR!?

Gun Crime is very rare here. Most would be gang or paramilitary related. I think it's safer without a gun in the house. I don't know what we would need to be safe from anyway.

Mateba Unica .......

Thats such a daam weabo weapon. Its a revolver but it fails because it isnt realiable.
Its nothing more than a novelty gun go ahead and buy it if you want it as a collectors item but dont dare use it as a service revolver or a home defense weapon. Now the Smith and wesson .500 is also a collectors item but the diffrence is that the smith and wesson kicks butt. Get a nice mossberg cruiser for homedefense. Enough power to take down an assailant but wont penetrate through walls and injure innocent people.

Haha yeah the Mateba was only for aesthetic purposes, it looks cool as hell. The 500 is for actual defense, of course I'll have to go to a range so I can get used to the recoil.

Even though we cannot bear fire-arms in Canada. It does make me feel somewhat safe, but it still doesn't change the fact that I know that there are people with guns out there.

NOOOO way this should be allowed for any city with a high crime rate...I can see it being legal out in the country and suburbs where people have guns to protect themselves

Here in Canada gun laws are really tight. I don't know anyone that owns a gun. Only fired one once in my life. Anyway, the point is gun crime is pretty low in Canada. Is there a correlation between our gun laws and gun crime rates? Probably...

Edit: Interesting question by the way.
