With the great storage depression of '08 I was wondering what people have deemed worthy of saving from the 'just delete it' theme. I remember back a month ago I had every channel filled up with VC glory but now that has deminished in the wave of WiiWare I know hold onto a 5/5 channel setting.

5 WiiWare titles: Lost Wind, Family Table Tennis, My Life As a King, Toki Tori, and Star Soldier R. While still holding on to 5 VC games Chew Man Fu, Act Raiser, Star Tropics, Fantasy Zone, and Shinning Darkness. I do also have Everybody Votes, Internet, and Nintendo Channel but I keep those on the last page with all the other extra channels Nintendo gives you.

So what do you have left? Or I suppose what do you have now is the better question

Haven't bought wiiware yet...waiting for my paycheck on wednesday, then I'm getting Blast Works and Dr. Mario Rx. My channels have excitebike, galaga, SF2, Mariokart 64, and sonic 3.

I'm workin w/ the Mii, Internet, Mario Kart, Weather, News, Everbody Votes, Nintendo, Check Mii Out, Photo (1st version), Wii Shop, My Life as a King, and Lost Winds Channels.

BrotherNick get on those WiiWare titles

but nice VC titles right there. I had some of those but they didn't make the cut

ItsDubC nice usage of the Nintendo Channels they can be pretty fun. How is the Check Mii Out?

If you like puzzle/platform stuff I do suggest Chew Man Fu on VC and Toki Tori on WiiWare. Great stuff right there

You guys don't have emulators? I've glanced at the Wii Ware on Wii but didn't really see anything truly appealing.

oh yeah I have emulators but I'm just weird that way I still like being a consumer plus having it all on the Wii is pretty sweet. VC has some really great games but WiiWare is really a cool place that doesn't have any emulators for it

Once you bought a game off the Wii shop or whatever its called, can you redownload it again for free if you delete it much like XBL and PSN do?

Yes you can redownload a game after deleting it. It's just the principle of the matter

I bought the game I should be able to play it when I want and after what I just played. Though I can't do that. I have a whole collection of games that if I wanted to play I would need to delete a few games to make room and then redownload the games I wanted. Lets say I got those games redownloaded and played them and want to go back to the old ones I had just deleted well that means I get to redelete the ones I just redownloaded so I can do the whole process over again.

They have that SD card reader and I have a 2 gig stick in there I got at launch not knowing any better. Let me use that eh?

I'm guessing they're holding back on the hard drive issue because of piracy...I think I would do the same so my games would sell and not be pirated. Sucks for us nerds and otaku lol.

Yeah I know Nintendo is big on anti piracy which is good, but also bad because I want me harddrive for the Wii

Action/Adventure, puzzle, sports,rpg's just about everything except MMORPG'S.

Hmm well I not any action/adventure games I'm pretty sure. Toki Tori though is a cool puzzle/platform game that if you start playing it gets harder to put down the controler. My Life As a King is a great sim in terms of town building and a sim rpg. Meaning you plot out the dungeons you want your guys to go to and after the day ends you get to see what they fought, how much loot they brought back, and how much exp they got. You don't actually do any of the fighting but you get to see all they did and work off of that. Star Soldier R is a decent side scroller shooter but Blast Works looks even better.

We have yet to go channel crazy haha.

But we've moved the lamer channels like the weather and news channels to the last page aka Oblivion.

Channels we own:

Check Mii Out
Nintendo Channel
Mario Kart Channel
Internet Channel (we don't know why but we have it o.o)

We have yet to buy many VC games as well.
We have Paper Mario...thats about it. =/

River City Ransom is next on the list. 8)
