Seriously why would anyone buy a 360? Anything good on it comes to the PC, and there is hardly anything good on it that isn't multiplatform already. The Xbox 360 is nothing but a poor mans PC, it is sad how Microsoft suckers people into purchasing such inferior hardware by giving it a cheap price and saying it has better games than the PS3. What they should be telling people is the truth, that the 360 has over a 60% chance to get the RROD, has already been tapped out by Gears of war 2 years ago and will cost you 50 additional dollars a year to take full advantage of the little it offers. I just can't fathom what people are thinking when they decide to purchase a 360 over the PlayStation 3. The PlayStation 3 gives you TRUE exclusives that only the PS3 can do. You won't ever see a game as good looking as Uncharted on the 360, and you sure as hell will never see anything close to Killzone 2 on it, ever! Having a Harddrive standard and the Cell processor gives developers what they need to create real next generation games, both graphiclly and emotionally, look at MGS4 as an example, the 360 woud need, what, 6 discs to run that game? Not to mention they'd have to do a massive overhaul on the engine to dumb it down for the inferior hardware it would have to run on. Really what I am trying to say is why buy a 360? With all the PS3 offers there's no reason any sane human being would pick up a 360 instead, it just doesn't make sense.

can someone tell me why the 360 was named the 360 please? I hope it's not "came to a full circle" type thing; it shouldv'e went gunning for a "180".

It was them saying they're in the center looking out at everyone else or some lame excuse like that. They said the Xbox 2 sounded inferior to the PS3 so they needed something else. Which is funny because it is inferior and people know.

Actually this gen is pretty much about online and MS have innovated whilst Sony have simply tried copying MS... Talk about playing safe the ps3 is called the ps3... seriously increasing the digit at the end of the consoles is playing it safe... They should use different names for each console
