WWII movie?
I got to thinking about this yesterday while watching the new Rambo movie. Its amazing what they can do with movies today. The action and special effects were amazing. I couldn't help but think how awesome a good WWII movie will look if they did one today. My favorites are Saving Private Ryan and The Thin Red Line. Band of Brothers was also a great mini-series and if you put those together it would make for a great 12 hour WWII movie.

So whats your favorite WWII movie? And do you think were ready for a new one soon?

EDIT: Yeah I liked that CoD part, it was pretty cool

Just thought of more WW2 movies I liked:

ah, I forgot about Enemy at the Gates,

I like how in the first COD they kinda did the whole opening scene from that movie.

Yea Pans Labyrinth was bonkers. Pretty much the only reason i am considering Hell Boy 2 at this point

wait pans labyrinth was a ww2 movie. I though it was a spanish horror movie.

Also the new rambo movie was awesome. I loved the scene that shows you how devastating a .45 acp hollow point to the head can be.

Definetely a few like saving private ryan, but Band of Brothers tops the list.

Pan's Labyrinth was based in Spain during World War 2. But it's not a horror movie by any means, it is described as an "adult fairy tale". Great movie.
