Do you want the PS3 to make VOIP calls for you as well? Or perhaps become your personal financial accountant. Don't get so hostile man. Its not asking too much for in-game chat. I loved the days when I could talk to my friends for hours on end while playing a different game than them on my 360. And yeah, I will probably never be satisfied, but theres satisfaction, and expectations, and in-game chat was an expectation of mine, ever since fw 2.40 was announced. Satisfaction will come when my ps3 has the exact same features, and more, than the 360. But all I need right now after fw 2.40 to be pleased is in-game chat, and the cross game invite feature, and not by individual game, but by the xmb itself. I cannot invite someone to my warhawk game if they are playing resistance. I can, but I have to notify them by message that I want to play a game with them, and then they would also have to pop in the game just to GET the invite. Whats wrong with asking for more anyways? Thats how improvements are made. If no one complained, then we would just be stuck with the exact same games that came out at launch, or the exact same features. Complaining is a good thing. And the end result can only be good for the consumer, so why would you care if someone is asking for too much? Do you work at sony? Do you care for their well being? I can guarantee they don't give 2 shits about you, so I don't see why you try to defend their products like they are perfect as they are, unless you do actually work for sony, and you're getting pissed off that you're actually gonna have to do more work, but since I'm fairly certain you don't, I really don't understand this hate for constructive critisism that you have. You talk about cross game invite, but if the other person is already playing another game, they'll have to leave the game and put Warhawk in (save if they dont have the download version) anyway just to get to the game. If you can write them a message saying "hey, get on whatever game and i'll wait for you in the lobby or join this specific game" then whats the problem? XBL - You're playing COD, he's playing Army of 2. You send him a cross game invite, and then what? Can he join your game while Army of 2 is in his box? No. He'll have to put COD in. from there he'll get your invite for your room or w/e. So what's so much different thatn you sending him a message detailing "Look, im in the lobby waiting, put in COD and get the invite." Yea, voice communications sound fun with two people playing two games, and I'd like it too, but I'm more than content with this update and can wait a long while for such a feature. Especially considering, if I'm playing online on a game, chances are I'm on my headset talking to my teammates. If im playing a single player game I want to be left alone. And as for Tempists post, I feel the same. At least, if he means that we just got a huge update with alot of features people wanted, and abunch of cool stuff added as well, why are people STILL complaining so soon even though the update hasnt even dropped yet. There's complaining, and then there's letting it be known that "Awesome update, hopefully in the next one so and so happens" See?
