Being a music, movie and video game fanatic, it's the only console that suits my needs. I don't consider myself one more than the other because I have a deep appreciation for all three. Music: I can play my music on my surround using my PSP as the remote control, play it remotely from anywhere and generally, most Sony first party titles have a huge budget for epic scores. Case in point, the God of War series, Killzone and Team Ico games. Most recent examples are Heavenly Sword and Uncharted, both which have good soundtracks, but nothing to write home about. Movies: This one's obvious I think. I've got my system connected via HDMI to a 7.1 PCM capable receiver and a 1080p tv. Movies have never sounded or looked better and for me personally, I get a thrill out of it because it's something I like alot. I use it to stream high definition TV-Shows and movies off my PC. In terms of games again, Sony's first party games have the most cinematic feel to it which pleases me. Great examples are Metal Gear Solid, Most RPG's, God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, etc, etc, etc. Games: Entirely subjective: I've been loving what I've been playing, that's all that really matters. To one person, the games that are exclusive on PS3 are nothing special, to another, they're exactly what hits the right spot. I won't go into this. So yeah, I can't complain about it because I don't really feel like it's missing anything in terms of what I wanted it to do. Extras like in-game messaging are nice, but maybe that's it. It's the only thing I can think of.
