Everything, from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Family Guy to Danger Mouse.

I like Bucky O'Hare the best though.

I think the thing about western animation to me is that more than half of them are comedy.

Most people I know and on most of the forums i visit there is a general dislike for anime. Why do you hate anime or why do you think other people hate anime?

Not everyone enjoys the same things :P
Anime can be drasticly different from the usual things people watch e.i sitcoms detective shows and some other random things.
people can't fathom the fact that most of the shows are pretty similar besides the obvious visual medium.

I'm a fan of anime.....certain anime, 90% of anime has pedophile connotations and suggestive scenes involving pre teen charcaters, so i stay away from that crap, but there is a lot of terrible anime out there, i like ghost in the shell ( movies and series), neon genesis, ergo proxy, and the miyazaki films, but i can't get into a lot of other stuff

And elfin lied is one of the highest rated animes of the decade. The story is a timeless classic. The story is terrefic.

I bought elfin lied thinking it looked cool from clips I had seen, but the clips I had seen chose to omit the pedo nature of the show, naturally i have not finished watching it

that show cannot be defended....there is a scene where she is talking like a baby, and the guy is checking out her ass and she pisses herself, if that isn't a metaphor...or direct re-enactment of pedophile tendancies then i don't know what is

Well I can't sway your mind on this anime I see. But i can tell you this. She just got sniped in the head so that would explain her acting like that.

the main character is born off a dead woman and soon gets raped as a child by the person that took him in
he then continues a life beheading and maiming people untill he's maimed enough to be noticed by a group of people that also maim people
they then maim hundreds of thousands of people
then some plot happens

main character has smex with main character girl and soon his best friend in maiming is captured for smexing up the princess that was almost raped by her father

then his best friend turns turns into a zombie of a man and gets saved

soon after demons appear 
they maim those too
then this egg thing turns into a grotesque face and turns zombieman into a god
zombieman /now god then mains his old best friend and rapes main character girl to the point that she lost her memories infront of her boyfriend mr main character who cuts off his own arm.

if you wish to continue to the manga it will involve  the following
girl getting hot while watching someone burn and melt
demon orgy
maimed people
more maimed people
maimed creatures
and many more maimed things.

I also wanted to say i think there are clear distinctions between ages in elfin lied.
 


 
but i will give it to you that it is perverted but that's pretty normal nowadays in t.v shows and in anime and is there purely for comedic relief...
