mindedone 10 Steps Back mindedone Homicide KingVulcan because 90% of anime is full of cliches And spikey-haired metrosexuals... and kicks puppies and eats children In anime's defense at least there's an anime for everything and I mean everything from Baking (Yakitate Japan) to Fishing (Grander Musashi) to American Football *forgot the name*. :P And tennis, don't forget tennis...i'll take my anime with giants mechs please Basket Ball (Slam Dunk), Corny for chicks to watch Basket Ball (Boys Be), Fashion (Paradise Kiss), to Missing Object Finders (Get Backers? I think that was the name). Hell a lot of toys have anime's as well, Beyblade, Crush Gear, that ugh... Battle B-daman something. just google an action and type anime and chances are there's an anime for the action. My favorite has to be the anime about Chinese Cuisine (Cooking Master Boy - always made me hungry)

There's another caveat here, too, and that's the dubbing of some of the animes "dumbing down" what they really were like before trying to make them kid friendly. DBZ had a few f-bombs and a lot of blood before it was dubbed for children. Sailor Moon really got a lot of censorship (actual episodes got deleted, and the final two episodes of the first season were consolidated into one, and it wasn't even half as good as the original two episodes were. Those were kind of intense, and there were at least two homosexual relationships that got censored, too). That, and while I doubt it matters now, the whole Pokemon seizure stuff still makes some people think twice (I do bet a few people still have the Porygon incident in the back of their minds as a history making moment in Anime that not many will forget).

Captain Tuttle I don't hate it. I just don't "get" it. QFT. I totally agree. My roommate in college would watch anime for 8 hours a day. I would just shake my head and leave the room. So weird.

Anime is for the ****ing win. Old western cartoons are for the ****ing win. Most of the new ones are **** as of now. I wish they would bring back cartoons like Bucky O'Hare and MIghty Max and King Arthur and The Knights of Justice. *sniff* classics.

Meh at rocky and bullwinkle and loony tunes, they were good but they were too general. I never heard of super ted though, but the previous two i mention didnt have a real story, as in there was no real goal. it was just an everyday cartoon about random stuff.

Only Anime I could ever stand to watch was the first Gundam universe. Aside from that, meh, I was watching Kenan and Kel, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, and Ren and Stimpy. Yea, I know the first two aren't cartoons, but they're still awesome.

Anime is awesome, there are no limits to what can be done in anime, since they are not cartoons and are not limited by anything. Lots of animes have great action, comedy and story.
