Status: offline 		I really wanted to try this game, it sounded like it was gonna be bad @$$ but i just checked the meta for both of them(i was unaware of the second) and they were 63 and 59, in that order.

I can see why the second would suck, as Ubisoft contributed to it - idk why squaresoft would need Ubisoft for anything.  But i never played these games and I was gonna goozex one of them, since im desperate for something new now, i usually dont care how bad a game is when im bored tho(except sonic the hedgehog on ps3) but i wanna know what made them soo bad.

Status: offline 		hell to the naw...i aint trying to do all that..either i get it throught goozex points, or i spend like $5 in gamestop, or trade some games in.  I dont need it that bad, especially if its not good, but no one has told me what the problem was. Hopefully Folklore or Brave Story comes in soon b/c on July 15 when NCAA Football 09 gets in, nothing else will be played, for a long time

Come on, the first three Splinter Cell games, Ghost Recon 1, and the older Rainbow Six games (Vegas was crap) were good. But, they have been heading in a downward spiral lately, which is a shame.

Splinter Cell: Double Agent was crap, don't bother playing it. But, Splinter Cell 1, Pandora Tomorrow, and Chaos Theory were all excellent games, I recommend you try them.

Status: offline 		I loved the games, they are at least worth a rent. LOTS of replay value in them, first one has like 8 different endings + tons of weapons, second one has 3 endings and a lot more weapons and you can play as four characters throughout the game at any given time + tons of  Caim kick ass scenes.

Status: offline 		i just checked, and Drakengard 1 Meta score was 63, but the user score was 89.  And I noticed for most games that the user was higher than meta, so i checked big titles to make sure it wasnt that:

GTA4 had a meta 98, but user 79, w/ 538 votes(ps3only)
Halo 3 had a meta of 94, but user 74, w/ 1729 votes
Resistance had a meta of 86, but user 85 w/ 366 votes

So maybe i should trust users over gaming review sites b/c it seems like big time AAA games are getting over hyped by gaming sites, and the other games are being underscored and are being picked on

Try the first one, theres some things you won't understand about the second one without that and in addition  the main character in the first one is featured a lot in the second so you kinda gotta know who he is. Plus you'll notice that hes a mute, but there is a reasonto it which you will only understand in the first game.
