When ever there is a topic on GTA IV people say it looks "last gen". But that is not last gen. This is last gen

Oh and if you dont think gta iv looks last gen then grreat but I simply made this for those who think that.

The term "next gen" seems to have lost it's meaning anyway.

Also, you asked why you need to explain it so much. Well, you don't. Leave people to their own opinions, and if you feel their opinion is stupid, then as far as you're concerned, they're not worth worrying about.

If someone still thinks GTA4 looks last gen, this wont change their mind. It is too late by now. You could also try using a different picture than that for GTA4, as everyone uses that for their personal comparison and it is getting old to look at.

Probably because the graphics compared to games like COD4, MGS4, Uncharted etc sucks but it's not really a fair comparison. GTA never has been a graphic whore/will never be and isn't trying to be revolutionary graphic wise.

It's all in it's sandbox gameplay, huge open world and other important stuff that makes it shines the most.

I think the GTA4 graphics are good, not great, but good. They will definitely serve their purpose.

(And yes, prototype looks awesome)

Well i am not a GTA fan myself. I haven't seen gameplay and all but the animation to me still seems sloppy visuals are so so. The city is smaller you can't fly you can't swim i expected a little bit more. Visuals are good but i expected a bigger leap in graphics. I can probably say that for every game this gen anyway. E

exactly. look at the majority of mmo's on the market. graphics are good not great...yet the main focus of the game is gameplay. like GTA..and Assassin's Creed. sandbox games have a hell of a lot of crap going on. the sacrifice is mind blowing graphics.

at the end of the day you cant really expect a game with the level of content (i.e. the size and busyness of the freeroaming environment) to have the same graphical clout as say uncharted or mgs4. if uncharted or mgs4 were along the same lines as gta4 then maybe you could make the comparison. i think it looks great for the amount of stuff they have no doubt packed in!

Yeah,it looks nice enough,considering the constraints
they had with size limits and all,they probably were

I thought that GTA IV was for the Atari 1600...ok ok I joke and it really doesn't look that bad I am not really a fan of the past GTA's although they are fun for awhile I lost intrest, this one does have online so I think it may hold my intrest a little longer therefor I will be picking this up
