Status: offline 		What do they do? All I keep hearing is that EA keeps trying to buy take 2 (whatever that is) and screw up GTA. WHY ARE THEY TRYING TO RUIN GAMES? WHERE DO THEY GET ALL THIS MONEY? HOW IS THIS BENEFITING THEM? WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS? WHY CAN'T YOU JUST GO CLICK THAT REPLY BUTTON AND ANSWER ME ALREADY? STOP READING!!! STOP NOW!! Seriously. Sorry for the caps.

Yes I like GTA. I already pre-ordered it (GTA IV). I have GTA LCS, GTA VCS, GTA SA, played GTA 3, played GTA Vice city, Played GTA 2.

I was only referring to the topic.

If you want the 'real answer' here it is. The 'vast majority' of gamers are casual gamers. The people that just buy Madden, NBA Live and ironicly GTA games. They don't know about resolution, HD, GPU's or anything like that.

People here on N4G are most likely 'hardcore gamers.' People that are well versed in technology and/or electronics, these people make up the minority of gamers. There is a reason why original games and IPs aren't being made anymore. With the rising costs of game development taking risks is too much of a gamble. Lot's of games don't start to turn a profit until there are hundreds of thousands of copies sold. Therefore smaller publishers are being 'swallowed up' by larger publishers and the creativity in gaming is being drowned out.
